Civil Rights (Title VI)

The Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RRTPO) complies fully with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.

The RRTPO developed a Title VI Plan, and the PlanRVA Executive Director is responsible for ensuring the plan's implementation, for coordinating the overall administration of the Title VI Plan and assurances, and overseeing compliance with applicable non-discrimination authorities in each of the metropolitan transportation planning and programming areas.

PlanRVA ensures that no one who uses our services will be excluded from participation, denied benefits or discriminated against while using these services on the basis of their race, color or national origin.
